Everyday as a PA educator is a day where you are making a difference at both the individual and population levels. Applying an equity lens, I am able to send the elevator back down picking up the next generation of culturally humble, clinically competent PAs that will deploy into the our nation’s most vulnerable areas to provide healthcare access and positive health outcomes. I subscribe to Dr. Richard Smith’s, the founder of MEDEX Northwest, mantra of “Multiplying my Hands” through my job as an associate professor, associate program director, vice chair, and family medicine PA. It is an honor and blessing to serve our great profession in such a meaningful way.”
